Together, Tyrone and Jasmine Thompson bring complementary experience in firearms training, law enforcement, business operations, and customer service.

tyrone thompson
LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Tyrone is an active-duty Connecticut law enforcement officer, Lead Firearms Instructor for his police department, and Assistant Team Leader on his department’s SWAT Team.
He is a certified Connecticut law enforcement firearms instructor, red dot pistol instructor, and Glock armorer with experience developing and conducting firearms training for law enforcement officers. He is also a certified emergency rescue diver for his department.
As Lead Instructor, Tyrone oversees course development and instruction with an emphasis on strong fundamentals, practical application, and measurable improvement.
JASMINE THOMPSON
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Jasmine oversees the administrative and business operations of New England Firearms Training.
With over a decade of experience in the insurance industry and office management, Jasmine brings a background in business administration, customer service, and organizational management.
She manages student communication, registration, scheduling, and administrative coordination to help ensure a professional and organized experience from registration through course completion.

New England Firearms Training is a family-owned business built by a husband-and-wife team who enjoy learning, challenging themselves, and experiencing new things together.
Outside of work, we enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and making memories. Whether exploring underwater or spending a day on the range, we share the same mindset: keep learning, keep improving, and enjoy the experience along the way.
